C54's Nikolai Malsuk wins again in Prospect Park.
Team Metra/C54 rider, Nik Malsuk won his 4th race of 2010 with a solid breakaway victory at Prospect Park in  Brooklyn last week. 

 

Nikolai has also won in Branchbrook Park, the Rahway River Park Criterium, and helped Team Metra/C54 win the NJBA Team Challenge for the third time.

C54 riders kept the winning streak going with Ross Anderson, winning the Category 4/5 Race at our NJNG Twilight Series in Lakewood.

C54 would like to wish Ran Korolik and Steven Halloway good luck this weekend at Ironman St. George in Utah.

Spring / Summer Hours Start This Week
The season is here and Cycles 54 has expanded our hours to 7-Days a week.  We are now open: Mondays 12 to 4, Tuesdays 10 to 6, Wednesdays 12 to 8, Thursdays 10 to 6, Fridays 10 to 6, Saturdays 10 to 5, and Sundays 12 to 4.  Enjoy the great weather!

Race Dates Announced for Cycles 54
Twilight Race Series.

Cycles 54 will kick off its fifth year of promoting Tuesday Night Bike Racing at First Energy Park in Lakewood, NJ.  The 2010 schedule consists of nine races on 4/27, 5/11, 6/22, 7/6, 7/13, 7/27, 8/3, 8/10, and 8/24.  The 2010 Series is sponsored by New Jersey Natural Gas.  Visit the racing tab above for more information.

Cycles 54 Athletes Collect some hardware at the NJBA Awards Dinner.

Cycles 54 racers (L to R) Greg Leach, Steve Dioslaki, and Thomas Barnett after receiving their awards at the NJ Bicycle Associations Awards Dinner.  Steve finished 2nd and Greg was 3rd in the Senior Men's Garden State Cup Competition, while Thomas won the Junior 15/16 Time Trial Cup.  Cycles 54 also won the Best Team Award in both Categories.

Monday Night Spin Jan. 4th  

Cycles 54 indoor spin class will start on January 4th, 2010.  Signups are open now.  Class runs for 12 weeks, each session is 90 minutes and will take participants through various drills, intervals and loads of fun.  Class starts at 6:30 pm in the Cycles 54 Showroom.  Bring your own bike and trainer and get in shape for spring with a great group of people.  Contact the store at 732.449.2254 or email info@cycles54.com to sign up.  Cost: $180.

Thanksgiving week hours and Holiday Layaway.
Cycles 54 would like to wish a Happy Thanksgiving to all our customers and let you know that we will have special holiday hours Thanksgiving week. We will close early on Wednesday 11/25 (11 to 3) and will be closed on Thursday, Thanksgiving day (11/26).  We will reopen on Friday November 27th at 10 am.

The 2009 Tour De Fair Haven is in the books!


Cycles 54 and the town of Fair Haven have were proud to present this first (of hopefully many more) edition of the Tour de Fair Haven.  300 plus racers took on the 4.5 mile downtown course.  For complete results of this years event, click here.  You can also see photos of the event on Tara Lauducci website at http://www.efotolab.com/photographers/rala.
